Ahhhhhh… The power of breastmilk!

Now, I’m quite certain that by now you know that breast is best when it comes to giving the best nutrition possible to your little precious baby.

There are those who aren’t able to breastfeed for a multitude of reasons and this article is in no way written to make them feel bad.  I know plenty of kids who were formula-fed who still have stellar health and are incredibly nurtured and wonderful human beings raised by amazing parents.  This article is to shed light on the powers of breast milk you may not have heard of…yet!

The human body can be over-simply stated as: incredible.  Not only do are bodies work to maintain homeostasis against million of viruses, bacteria etc on a daily basis, indeed it does more by producing life and sustaining another living being.  We are amazing.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends breastfeeding up to two years of age or over.  “Breast milk benefits extend beyond mother and child, as adults of all ages can find natural uses for human breast milk to improve their overall health.”  We can even even use it as a Coffee Creamer.  Why not? Otherwise you are drinking milk from another animal.  It only makes sense to drink human milk.  Baby cows don’t look to humans for milk after they are weaned from their moms.

BREASTMILK- WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?

1. Ear Infections- While many babies seem to get recurring ear infections, one simple remedy is breast milk.  Due to the antibodies in breastmilk, it can be a natural treatment for an ear infection.  Three to four drops into the entrance of the baby’s ear (or adult’s) should be enough.
